Based on a variety of recent reports, the overall housing market has improved and the local market is now on stable ground. The Case Shiller 20-city composite rose 2.2% in May All 20 cities in the index saw monthly
gains. Portland experienced a gain of 2.6% from the prior month. These reports certainly reflect the activity we see in our local market - more buyers buying, more price competition, decreased inventory of homes for sale.
